Good Evening and welcome aboard Metro Transit Archives After Dark: In Motion

Tonight, I will showcase one of the most tricky actions of night photography: Motion shots.

Mainly, the object of night photography is to get the bus or train and yourself as still as possible. Sometimes one or the other fails. When buses or trains move, it creates motion blurs and on occasion, the movement is small enough the photo remains mostly in tact.

Below are 15 photos I've taken where motion helped (and a bit of post-production editing) made the photo just as good if it was remaining still. So sit back and enjoy the ride.
